Well I got the rest of the bushes put in today and got a nice little sunburn but it was worth it. Now we have to find the ground covering flowers we are looking to put under the big window and then some landscape fabric and fill with stone. Hopefully by next year the bushes will spread som and give the look we are shooting for.

Big Tree

I put in the last tree today, it is a Norwegian Sunset Maple. It get to about 35' tall and should help with all the sun in the afternoon, keeping the house cooler. Let me tell you it was really hot digging the hole today but now it's done. I also found the bushes we thought we would not find this year so I picked those up. I will have to till the big bed in the next couple days so we can get this stuff finished. Well stay cool!

Some plants!

Well we got a tree and 4 shrubs put in today. My mom also brought over the rototiller to prep the big bed so we can get the rest of the bushes put in hopefully next week. It was nice though finally walking in the nice soft grass today.

Started Landscape

So we tore up the front yard today and put in a trench to make the border of our bed in the front yard. Next we are going to till up the bed and start putting our two trees. Now that I have a project to show maybe I will update the blog a little more.
